권영진 시장과 이철우 지사는 집무실에서 ‘시·도지사 상호 교환근무 추진 계획’ 결재를 시작으로 현안보고에 이어, 의회를 방문하여 확대의장단과 환담을 실시하고 기자실을 찾아 방문소회를 밝혔다.

이후, 직원과의 만남(정례조회)에서는 시·도지사의 특강, 직원과의 소통공감의 시간을 보냈다.
현장방문으로 시·도 상생협력 현장인 팔공산 둘레길을 시·도지사는 함께 걸었다.
이 자리에는 배기철 동구청장, 최기문 영천시장, 최대진 경산시부시장, 김영만 군위군수, 백선기 칠곡군수 등이 함께 참석, 둘레길을 도보 답사하면서 대구·경북 상생협력 방안 등에 대해 담소를 나누었다.
마지막 일정으로, 팔공산 호텔 에밀리아에서 시·도 실·국장 등 간부공무원 50여명이 참석한 가운데 시·도 상생발전의 초석을 다지는 시·도 상생협력 토론·간담회를 개최하였다.
